Emotional Fluidity & Spiritual Life
This course is an exploration of how we, as spiritual practitioners, can appreciate the depth, range and wisdom found in the vast ocean that is our emotional world. Of equal importance will be that of weaving those practices and theological insights into this ongoing spiritual pilgrimage. Emotions in and of themselves are neither good nor bad, but how they find expression in our lives and the lived reality of others does carry gravity. We will examine our emotional world and how various spiritual disciplines can enhance our own fluidity.
The course's original title was "The Psychospirituality of Everyday Life," which is a plays off Sigmund Freud's groundbreaking work, "The Psychopathology of Everyday Life" published in 1901.
